Tip #47: Like Yogurt? Opt For High Protein Greek Yogurt Instead

Written by Steve

If you love, love, love eating yogurt then it’s time to consider making the change over to Greek yogurt. Greek yogurt is a healthier option, and features:

  • Fewer carbs per serving
  • Almost twice as much protein per serving
  • Lower amounts of lactose per serving
  • A creamier texture, which makes it a more satisfying option

While plain yogurt is a solid healthy choice, Greek yogurt is strained to improve the overall nutritional value. This process removed the liquid whey, much of the lactose and extra sugar.

6 ounces of Greek yogurt generally contains 15 to 20 grams of protein, and only a handful of carbs.

Have you made the switch to Greek yogurt?
